Nike marked the 35th anniversary of the Dunk by bringing back the Dunk Low SP St. John’s (2020). The Dunk originally debuted in 1985 as part of the Nike College Colors program, which introduced team‑themed colorways for 12 major basketball programs—St. John’s included—setting a new standard for bold collegiate palettes on performance footwear. The Dunk Low SP St. John’s features a white leather base with red leather overlays, paired with a white midsole, red outsole, and classic Nike branding on the tongue. This colorway first released in June 2020 with a retail price of $100, then returned in October 2023 at $110.
