A Chase is a variant, not a grading result. Distinguish an identified Chase listing from an offer that only gives a chance of receiving one. Compare the exact figure, box and condition before deciding whether the higher ask suits your collection.
An identified variant and a chance offer are different
Funko describes Chase variants in its own product guides. The important buying distinction is what the seller is offering: a known variant shown and described in the listing, or a product sold with a chance of a variant.
Do not read “chance of Chase” as “Chase included.” If the description is ambiguous, ask what item will be supplied and whether the pictures show that actual variant.
Identify the figure precisely
Record the character, collection, figure number and variant description. Glow, flocked, signed and other named versions can be separate offers. Compare those details with the manufacturer’s relevant entry rather than relying on the character name alone.
A sticker is one piece of listing evidence. It does not replace checking the figure, box and supporting details together. A signed figure also needs its autograph evidence evaluated separately from the toy itself.
Decide whether box condition matters to you
Collectors who display in-box may value packaging differently from collectors who display loose figures. Ask about dents, tears, fading, window damage and missing inserts when those details are absent.
The catalogue photo identifies the product; it may not document the exact seller’s box. Request actual photographs for condition-sensitive purchases. An attractive price is less useful if the packaging does not meet the standard you want.
Compare asks without inventing rarity premiums
Compare the exact variant with completed sales when reliable references are available. A high seller ask is not evidence that buyers have paid it or that the item will appreciate.
For your own collection, the extra cost can be a preference decision. Set a maximum total before looking at variants. The product cards below let you inspect named listings rather than buying from a general assumption that every Chase is worth more.

Does chance of Chase mean I will receive a Chase?
No. It describes a possibility, not an identified guaranteed variant. Read the exact offer.
Does a Chase sticker authenticate the figure?
A sticker alone is insufficient. Check the actual figure, box, variant details and relevant evidence together.
Will a Chase always increase in value?
No future value is guaranteed. Asking prices and scarcity descriptions do not establish a future sale price.
