The New Balance 990v6 “Triple Black” outfits the sixth generation of the iconic 990 series in a fully blacked‑out palette with a layered, mixed‑material upper. Released in celebration of the 990’s 40th anniversary, the 990v6 introduces a sculpted midsole enhanced with ENCAP cushioning and FuelCell foam—marking a major performance evolution for the silhouette. FuelCell technology adds a responsive, propulsive feel underfoot, pushing the legacy runner into its next era. The all‑black colorway lets these technical upgrades shine without distraction, while the deep, uniform tone makes the suede mudguard appear even richer against the breathable mesh base.
